Hydro-LED A/B can be used indoors or outdoors and is specifically intended for Hydroculture and LED lighting. Hydro-LED A/B provides all the necessary trace elements that the crop needs and virtually all added micro elements are chelated, so that they are effective within a broader pH range and are immediately available for the crop.

Stabilized Salicylic acid protects the crop from biotic and abiotic attacks. Biotic environmental factors are environmental factors with biological origin, such as spider mites, pathogens, mildew, tobacco mosaic virus etc. Abiotics environmental factors are those that have no biological origin, such as intense light, heat, cold and salt stress.
- Hydro-LED A/B makes MORE VITAMIN C .
With an indoor test set-up with tomatoes in combination with an extra application of Salicylic acid, which is included in Hydro-LED A/B, an increase in Vitamin C of 35% is observed. A higher level of Vitamin C contributes to increased effectiveness of photosynthesis. In addition, Vitamin C is a co-enzyme for the synthesis of other hormones, such as:
Gibberellins: Regulate the development of the crop. More gibberellins mean faster germination, cell elongation, earlier budding, more flower formation and faster formation of fruits.
Ethylene: A ripening hormone that ensures faster and more even ripening. The more ethylene, the faster the ripening.
Anthocyanins/Beacyanins: These are the pigments for the crop, such as the red of red cabbage, for example. These provide protection of the crop against light poisoning (due to an excess of or damaging types of light). In LED lights, UV lights are often included today, in order to combat moulds and bacteria in the area. Crops, however, are sensitive to UV light. By creating the listed substances, the light is filtered better, before being absorbed for photosynthesis.

A thicker cell wall makes the crop more resistant to air pressure. In addition, a thicker cell wall ensures better water management.
- Hydro-LED A/B creates an ELEVATED BRIX VALUE .
The Brix value is the solids content of an aqueous solution in percentage of mass. A higher Brix value means less moisture in the crop, and more solids.

Use of Hydro-LED A/B ensures that the crop will respond more quickly to a change of seasons. As soon as the blooming season begins, the crop will produce flowers more quickly.

Use of Hydro-LED A/B creates more Chlorophyll. Chlorophyll is the green pigment in leaves of plants that ensures that light can be captured and that the energy of the light is converted to chemical energy, which is used for photosynthesis. Hydro-LED A/B also ensures that stomata respond more quickly and that photosynthesis is more effective as a result.

More polyphenol means better regulation of auxines (cell-elongation hormones) and has a preventive effect on microbiological infections. In addition, polyphenol, in collaboration with Anthocyanins/Beacyanins, provides better protection against UV light.

Because LED cultivation lights often give off only a fraction of the heat that, for example, traditional assimilation lights produce, it can happen that the temperature in the cultivation room is lower than optimal (without extra standard heating). As a result, the effectiveness of photosynthesis can decrease, and the relative humidity will be higher due to the lower temperature. The air cannot hold as much moisture, so that the condensation point is reached sooner. The air is unable to absorb any more moisture, so that dew is created. Moulds develop more quickly in this climate. By using Hydro-LED A/B LED Nutrition, the photosynthesis remains normal, and the crop is optimally protected against a higher relative humidity.

Hydro-LED A/B is COMPLETELY NEWLY DEVELOPED together with HY-PRO to optimally meet the nutritional needs of your crops when these are germinated, tended or cultivated under LED lighting. It offers all the extra nutrients and trace elements needed for a healthy and strong crop!

For the best results:
- Mix 4 ml Hydro-LED with 1 litre of water. Stir well.
- Add 4 ml Hydro-LED B. Stir well.
- Always use Hydro-LED A/B together, and in the same amounts.
- Add Hydro-LED A/B with each watering.
- Check the EC. (A desirable EC for hydroculture is between 1.4 and 2.2 EC, see
figure). Add water if the EC is too high.
- Check the pH of your solution. (The desired pH value for hydroculture is between
5.5 and 6.0.) If the pH is too high, you can lower the pH with LED-PH- to a
desirable pH value.
- Always follow the directions on the label.
